We took a punk track from 1995 and turned it into a super fun synth pop track.  Libel is originally by a band called Tilt and is the opening track on their second album Til It Kills. We slowed it down, added analogue synth, piano and strings. We kept the chord progressions, lyrics and vocal melody the same. The structure was kept the same except for shortening it slightly by removing the last two repeating sections at the end. This was because by slowing the song down it made it feel like it repeated too much and went on too long.
